Town Hall Ventures launched its fourth fund, targeting $440 million to back startups using AI to improve healthcare access and outcomes for underserved populations.
The company, New York City-based Unite Us, raised the funding from investors including Oak HC/FT, Town Hall Ventures and Define Ventures.
Co-founded by former CMS administrator Andy Slavitt, the investment firm, which is focused on vulnerable populations covered by Medicare and Medicaid, also made new investments in three companies: Landmark Health, Bright Health and Strive Health.
The HLTH conference in Las Vegas this week saw the launch of Town Hall Ventures, cofounded by Andy Slavitt, to back some of the companies that are addressing some of the needs of Medicaid patients in practical ways.
